Assignment 2: Second Degree Equations

This assignment asks to explore second degree equations and in what ways can we change the equation to manipulate the graph. Below, you will find videos explaining both of these concepts.

The first is an overview of a typical parabolic graph of a second degree equation and what changes to the equation result in a vertical and horizontal shift.

The second video delves in further to parabolic explorations by showing how to manipulate the second degree equation to shift the parabola vertically and horizontally.

The third video shows how to find the graph of a parabola that shares the vertex of our original parabola, but is concave down.
